With the arrival of Sander Kuijer as the new Chief Commercial Officer of ETB, the company is taking an important step toward realizing its ambitious growth plans and further strengthening its position as a leading omni-sourcing service provider. ETB has grown in recent years into the largest Dutch-speaking BPO in Turkey, with more than 1,200 Dutch-speaking employees. We are also steadily expanding in Suriname. The combination of locations in Turkey and Suriname gives ETB an ideal footprint for the Dutch market. âThe combination of Suriname and Turkey allows us to quickly find the right talent for our clients. In Suriname, we can scale up the fastest, which helps manage incidental or seasonal peaks, focusing more on traditional inbound customer contact. Meanwhile, in Turkey, we offer multiple languages as well as technical and sales profiles. This enables us to respond quickly to our clients’ diverse needs, regardless of their size or sector,â explains Sander.
Multilingual Offering
One of ETBâs biggest advantages is our multilingual capacity, which enables us to serve clients across a range of sectors and languages. In addition to Dutch, we offer services in English, German, French, and Scandinavian languages, reaching a broad range of European markets. Most of our employees have a strong affinity with these countries, which means they not only excel in the language but also communicate effectively within the cultural context of these markets. This results in a service that aligns both linguistically and culturally with our clients’ needs.
Omni-Sourcing Capability
ETB distinguishes itself with its omni-sourcing solutions, which allow us to serve the entire customer chain. âWe offer a complete package of services: from customer contact and back office to credit management, financial services, IT services, and HR services,â says Sander. âThis makes us the one-stop- shop BPO for companies seeking a reliable partner for all their operational needs.â
ETB as Main Sponsor
As part of the 100-year anniversary of friendship between the Netherlands and Turkey, Ambassador Joep Wijnands recently visited ETBâs office in Ankara. He expressed his appreciation for the companyâs innovative approach and emphasized that ETB, as the largest employer of Dutch speakers in Turkey with its broad range of services, makes a positive contribution to cooperation between both countries. The ambassador was very pleased with ETBâs sponsorship of the embassyâs activities for the anniversary year
and highlighted the importance of companies like ETB as main sponsors in celebrating this milestone.
Innovative Future
Innovation is a top priority at ETB Support Solutions. With the emergence of (Generative) AI, the company now sees solutions that truly enhance the lives of both clients and employees. âWe are investing heavily in new technologies to improve our services,â says Sander. âAI allows us to automate processes and work more efficiently without compromising quality or personal attention.â
Values & Culture
ETBâs core values form the foundation of its success. âWe believe that ownership, transparency, social responsibility, and (of course) having a lot of fun at work are the right ingredients for providing excellent service,â shares Sander. âBut the true strength of ETB lies in the close bond between our employees.â ETB employees feel almost like a family, which is one of our absolute unique selling points. This strong culture ensures that we excel as a team and provide our clients with the best possible service.â The company is also proud of its certification as a Great Place to Work. âThis recognition confirms that we are on the right track,â says Sander. âThe well-being and engagement of our employees are essential to delivering outstanding services to our clients.â
CSR Projects
During Ambassador Joep Wijnandsâ visit, we outlined our CSR guidelines and sustainability objectives. We informed him about our collaboration with WWF-TĂŒrkiye as part of the âAdopt a Beachâ program, through which we have adopted a coastline in Riva, Istanbul, and conduct cleanups of waste and litter three times a year. Additionally, we plant a tree for each employee in Urla, Izmir, and continue this for each new employee to contribute to reducing CO2 emissions. We are also proud that our locations in Turkey have achieved the Zero Waste certificate issued by the government, underscoring our commitment to waste reduction and addressing climate change.
GDPR and ISO Certifications
ETB Support Solutions understands better than anyone how sensitive the client and employee data we handle daily is, which is why we invest heavily in the security, reliability, and quality of our services. âAt ETB Support Solutions, we have an internal Data Protection Officer (DPO) who ensures we comply with all relevant regulations, including the Dutch GDPR, the European GDPR, and Turkeyâs KVKK. This helps us work safely and responsibly, both for our clients and our employees,â says Sander. âWe hold the following ISO certificates: ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 18295, ISO 27701, and ISO 14001. Adhering to ISO standards helps organizations create products and services that are safe, reliable, and of high quality. Furthermore, ISO certification helps us increase productivity while simultaneously reducing errors and waste. This is essential for meeting our clientsâ expectations and continuously improving ourselves.â
Future Vision
With the addition of Sander Kuijer as CCO, ETB looks confidently to the future. âOur ambition is to elevate ETB to an even higher level,â says Sander. âWe want to further strengthen our market position and enter into new partnerships.â A key part of this strategy is to expand our relationship with the Dutch market. âWe see enormous opportunities in various sectors and want to show Dutch companies how we can support their growth ambitions,â adds Sander.
Conclusion
With the arrival of Sander Kuijer as the new CCO, ETB is ready to expand its ambitious plans and achieve positive results. With a focus on innovation, a broad range of services, and a strong, family-like culture, the company is well-positioned to further increase its influence in the market. âWe are ready for the next step,â concludes Sander. âWith our dedicated employees and the recognition we receive from our clients, I look forward with enthusiasm to what the future will bring.â
